Jason Cowans began his career as a Financial Planner in 2000. Beginning his career in one of the worst historical downturns, taught him early that his value is in knowledge, setting realistic goals and recommending appropriate actions are taken.

Prior to becoming a Financial Planner, Jason was a high school math teacher and coach. Jason's extensive training and teaching background has taught him to internalize questions and provide answers that give his clients a clear understanding of why specific actions need to be taken. To this day Jason still views himself as an educator, except now the subject is the client’s financial well being.

Jason's Philosophy:
"I feel the profession of being a Financial Planner is very similar to that of a doctor; both require everyone to get a regular checkup. If you detect a minor problem early enough the treatment is usually quite simple. However, if you prolong checkups or procrastinate on a nagging problem, the diagnosis can sometimes be devastating."
Jason's goal is to form long-term relationships, built on unbiased advice, were clients and his community view him as a trusted resource for all of their financial concerns.
